In times like these (but really always), we need all the restoration and relaxation we can get!! Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening our bodies through passive stretching.
Join us for this virtual class and prepare yourself for deep relaxation.
In Restorative Yoga we relax into the postures, with the aid of props, without strain or pain, so that we can achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation. We hold each pose for an extended period of time so our muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than our muscles, are used to support the body. Restorative yoga helps to combat the physical and mental effects of everyday stress, and eases common ailments such as headaches, backaches, anxiety, and insomnia.
Stillness is a powerful practice.
In this class you will:
• Deeply relax the body
• Still the mind
• Improve your capacity for healing and balancing on mental, emotional and physical levels
• Balance the nervous and immune systems
• Boost immunity
• Enhance your mood and quality of sleep
You will need:
• Yoga blocks, bolster, strap and blankets
If you don't have the above at home:
• Stack of blankets/ towels and a belt/ scarf

Suggested minimum donation $10 per class. You are welcome to invest in multiple classes at once. If you are working and can still pay, please do. If you are experiencing financial hardship at this time, please still join. We are honored to support you.
